Most teenage are having quarrels because of the computer game DotA especially couples. Why do boys are addicted to it that their relationship leads to misunderstanding or break up? Teenage boys even lie to their parents and skip class just to play it. But first what is DotA? DotA stand for Defense of the Ancients. It is a custom scenario for the video game Warcraft III.
As I observe to most couples, they are having misunderstanding that leads to break up because of DotA. The girls most complain to their friends is that her boyfriend is in front of their computer playing DotA day and night he didn't even text or call her to ask if she is okay. If she ask the guy why you didn't call, the guy excuses that he has no load to text or call her. Their date is postponed because he is playing DotA. During their dates all his boyfriend want to talk about is his accomplishments in DotA. Boys makes bet and when they loose they are so depress that it's like end of the world for them.
Now because the girl is tired of his excuses she makes choices for their boyfriend, "Which do you choose, me or that DotA of yours?"
Well of course the guys would choose Dota. Why? It is because they say, "Plenty of girls out there, I could always replace you. Besides I spent thousands of my allowance just for our date while DotA is only 20 pesos. DotA is always there, he won't leave me. That's the reason why I don't want to have a relationship. Waste of money."
Many girls cry because of those quarrels between DotA and girlfriend.
Breaking up because of DOTA is like a childish act, why do people fight with just simple things? DOTA is not something to fight for.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, if you're a girl better don't hook up with a guy who plays DotA and if you're a boy better also not to have a girlfriend especially if you don't know how to court. Honestly for girls, why even bother trying to get that thing out from your boyfriends? it's like telling a rain not to get wet. DotA for boys is like fashion for girls. So it's better to move on because they will grow up,forget DotA, and will realize that they love you.
Well, DOTA is cool but if a guy values DOTA more than his girlfriend this only means that he is still immature. Although this is normal for boys they should have known their priorities way long before they even entered a relationship. As for the girls they should have open their eyes and see the truth.

Me too i never heard of a break ups because of DOTA . As a Guy playing Dota is just our past time, we know also our time in playing it specially when we are in a relationship . Guys do not do that specially when they are in a relationship . Guys values their girlfriends than DOTA .

ReplyDeleteAnyway, if ever it really happened, it only says one of the things about boys: they mature much later than girls. So girls, if you have agreed to be in a relationship with an immature guy, bear with it. Nobody pushed you into it. (I'm very unsympathetic! smile.....)

Well, even I don't know how to play DotA but I'm so irritated to those who are so addicted to it especially to those who shout that they won in the game.
Even though that some guys says that it's just their past time they should also put in their minds that in a relationship is a serious thing. Guys don't court girls if you don't know how to handle your relationship.
Honestly also, I have never seen it so of course I don't know how to play.Well, It's just a computer games and may be, the boys who are addicted with this kind of Game Has a immature thinking/childish.....Ha..Ha..HA..
ReplyDeletefor me, i have never seen a girl breaking up with a boy because of dota. but if there is, i think it is not a childish act because most of the guys in these generations are playing DOTA because they value it more than their girlfriends.
